Fatehpur Sikri

सिकरी का भव्य दुर्ग ”सिकरवार” वंश के राजपूत राजाओं द्वारा बनाया गया था. इस शहर का पुरातन नाम ”सिकरी गढ़” था . इसे महाराजा संग्राम सिंह जी ने बसाया था. अकबर के सातवें आक्रमण के बाद उसने इसपर कब्जा किया और इसका नाम ”फतेहपुर सिकरी” कर दिया.

Sikri Garh ( Fatehpur Sikri at present )  was built by Maharajas of Rajput Vansh  , The old name was Sikri Garh ,  was constructed by Sikriwal Rajput Rajas Last Emperor Maharana Sangram Singh beginning in 1500. At Seventh attack of Akbar Sikriwal Rajput left Palace after that Sikrigarh was named Fateh(victory)pur Sikri.There was a temple of Sikriwal Rajputs Kuldevi(Named Chamad Devi)In front of Lal Darwaja of Sikrigarh(at present Fatehpur Sikri)

Samay beet ta gaya, Rajkumari badi ho gayi and raja ne unke liye bhot hi sunder se rajkumar ko vivah k liye Chuna.

Jab Rajmukar apni barat leke Raja k darbar pahunche toh unhone dekha ki ek Chida (Toran) apni barat lekar b pahuncha hua tha. Chide ne Rajput raja ko bachman mai kahi baat yaad dilayi ki aapne kaha tha apni beti ka vivah mere se karenge.
Aab Rajput raja vachhan badh, tab rajkumar se Chide ka Vadh kar k Apni Rajkumari ko prapt kiya.

Sai Bai Maharani History

Sai Bai was first wife of Maharaj Shivaji , It is said that Maharani Sai bai was the first and last love of Maharaj Shivaji , Even at the death time of Maharaj Shivaj  the last word on Death bed was “Sayee”.

She was Shivaji’s first and most favourite wife. She was a great source of inspiration and confidence to Shivaji. He loved Sayeebai so much that he was greatly impacted by her death. She was most important person in Shivaji’s life..

Father of Sai Bai  - Second Mudhojiraje Naik Nimbalkar

Brother of Sai Bai  - Naik Bajaji Nimbalkar of Phaltan.

Sai Bai’s mother Reubai from Shirke dynasty.

In year 1630 Mudhojirao ruled on Phaltan.Before that he was in prison of Adishah on Satara Fort. Shahaji Raje help to escape him. So he gave his daughter Saibai to Shivaji Raje.

Death of Sai bai 

She died very young at the age of 26 at Rajgad fort while Shivaji was making preparations for his meeting with Afzal Khan at Pratapgad. She was ill from the time she gave birth to Sambhaji. Sambhaji was two years old at the time of her death. He was brought up by Rajmata Jijabai, mother of Shivaji Maharaj. To survive the newborn child Sambhaji, Jijabai appointed Dharai Gade Patil as his milk mother.

Sayeebai’s samadhi (tomb) is situated at Rajgad.

Ashapura Mata Kuldevi of Jadeja

Ashapura Mata is one of aspect devi. Her temples are mainly found in Gujarat.
In Rajasthan, her temples are in Modran and Nadol.
She is considered as kuldevi of Jadeja. The main temple is located at Mata no Madh in Kutch, where she is worshiped as kuldevi of Jadeja rulers of Kutch and main guardian deity of region.Even many Chauhan Rajputs also worship her as Kuldevi.
